Get Rich Quick Schemes (a short history lesson)

There have been a number of "get rich quick schemes" in history.  An early one in United States history was the California Gold Rush in 1849.  This really wasn't a get rich quick scheme because very few people got rich.   This was a hard life and required a tremendous amount of risk on the part of the "rusher".  Many people traveled great distances across the US in 1849 to get to San Francisco (hence the name of the NFL team).  You had to endure great hardship to sit out in the cold panning for the gold.   If you did find gold, you ran the risk of being shot by some one who wanted your claim.  Not exactly an easy venture, but big rewards, if everything panned out.

Next, came the stock market escalation in the "roaring 20's" (1920's).  People found out how to buy stock on "margin".  This was an "easy way" to become rich.  The only problem was that an individual had to eventually come up with the "rest of the money".  In October of 1929 many people jumped out of buildings in despair when the market when south and all of their net worth that was on paper disappeared.

Then there were the pyramid schemes of the 1980's and finally there was the Internet boom of the late 1990's.  Is there a way to make money quickly?  Yes, there is, but it usually requires a large cash investment and a large amount of risk.

Our personal and company goal was to limit our cash investment (because we didn't have a lot of money to start with) and therefore limit our risk or "exposure" as it is called.  So, using this philosophy was why (and how) we set up this web site.  We wanted to teach others who are in the set of circumstances that we were in.

How do you really make money?

There are three ways.

1.  Invest a large amount of cash in a high risk investment that yields a high rate of return on your investment (ROI).

2.  Sell a lot of products - go to people like a door-to-door salesman or have people come to you by opening your own store.

3.  Teach other people how to make money - consultant.

We propose that you combine and modify the three methods above to suit your budget and time constraints.  The programs that can be started in this fashion are called "affiliate" programs.  These programs are set up so that you can utilize the work of the "parent" company.  If you could equate that to the "businesses on the street", they would be similar to the franchises you see on every street corner.  These franchises follow the simple formula that has already proven successful.
